THE 2026 RETROSPECTIVE
World Water Day
On Monday, March 22, 2027, in Cannes, the International Eco-Social Film Festival is organizing a day dedicated to water issues in the Alpes-Maritimes, in partnership with the “Water in the Alpes-Maritimes Region ” Partnership Chair and IMREDD.
This event will provide a better understanding of the state of water resources and aquatic environments, water uses, and governance issues. Researchers, local governments, businesses, organizations, and citizens will have the opportunity to share their initiatives and discuss solutions for preserving water resources and adapting regions to climate change.
FIFES 2027, May 27–30 in Cannes
The International Eco-Social Film Festival returns to Cannes for its 7th edition, May 27–30, 2027.
Through the arts—and particularly film—FIFES highlights eco-social initiatives, shares knowledge, fosters dialogue, and encourages action.
In 2027, FIFES will highlight solutions for sustainable tourism.
This theme will encourage reflection on new ways of traveling while preserving regions, their ecosystems, and their residents.
Join us in Cannes from May 27 to 30, 2027, to discover a new edition focused on global challenges and initiatives that help build a resilient and sustainable future in harmony with our environment.
