editorial# A word from the founder

We are happy to see you again for a 3rd edition that promises to be extraordinary!

The festival is more than ever a place of meetings, debates, reflections, opening to the world and also a place of celebration, conviviality, benevolence and knowledge.

The F.I.F.E.S. allowed 3,650 spectators, artists, committed actors from the Alpes-Maritimes department and directors to gather around the festival’s raison d’être:

To make visible the ecological and social initiatives in order to make them radiate by the media of the arts and in particular the cinema.

A special thank you to the speakers and volunteers who help make the magic happen every year.

This year, the Festival will focus on the theme of water ” Water, our source of inspiration ” by proposing films, round tables, film-debates, associations, frescos dance, theater and books. Water is a precious good, there are solutions to take care of it and it is through these different media that we will become aware of it.

The festival is a collective of citizens conscious of the importance of acting for the living, for the youth and in favor of the common: “ We work for the weaving of links between cultures and generations through different artistic mediums “.

The 7th art is one of the media at the heart of our raison d’être. We wish to put in place ecological and social initiatives in order to sensitize, teach and transmit the possibilities and thus create new imaginary worlds that have the mission to be embodied by initiatives.

Come and meet a festival that looks like you and that brings us together! Let’s make ecological and social initiatives visible through culture.

Festively yours,

Sundari Veneroni and Maxime Giordano
