In the Mediterranean, a group of volunteer freedivers dive without machines or tanks to explore the seabed. But their immersions confront them with a reality: waste is everywhere. Every year, 8 million tonnes of plastic end up in our oceans. Over the course of a week, Coralie, Jérémy, Karim and Astrid descend beneath the surface to dig up plastics, cans, tires and other human traces that have accumulated in coastal creeks. But underwater, something else is at play. Through their repeated gestures and intimate accounts, these freedivers do more than just clean up the sea. They learn to inhabit it, to listen to it, to connect with it. For, in the face of relentless pollution, the question remains: how can we protect what we can't see? Their commitment reveals the need to reconnect with the sea.779c194ea67df083a03695827ff07fb309e48598916c81a9c50c1fb3665f048f
