Heidi lives with her grandfather in a mountain chalet. But everything changes when she finds a wounded baby lynx and decides to nurse it back to health. The young animal desperately needs to be reunited with his family in the mountains! Unbeknownst to her grandfather, Heidi and Peter decide to rescue their new companion. Things get complicated when a greedy businessman, Schnaittinger, wants to build a big sawmill in the mountains, and sets traps for the lynx. Now it's time to protect not only the lynx and his family, but also the village and nature they love so much!
