Registration for the Initiatives Village

On the occasion of the 6ᵉ edition of FIFESthe Village of Initiatives sets up in the heart of Cannes on Sunday, May 24, 2026from 10am to 6pmon the Allées de la Liberté.

Designed as an open, friendly and committed space, the Village des Initiatives brings together exhibitors from the following fields of the ecological and social transition :

associations, collectives, cultural, scientific and civic structures working on a daily basis for ecological and solidarity-based models.

THE 2026 EDITION

The 6th edition of the International Festival of Ecological and Social Films (FIFES) in Cannes from May 27 to May 31, 2026. This event will bring together filmmakers, artists, researchers, practitioners and the general public to discuss ecological and social issues, with a particular focus on 2026, biodiversity.

On the program:

A international competition of fiction, documentary and animation films from all over the world.
A youth section with films accompanied by teacher’s packs, for further classroom reflection.
A Films des Territoires & Rencontres Territoriales sectionThis section will showcase works and initiatives from the Marais and PACA regions, with exchanges between filmmakers, associations, companies and local institutions.
The Impact 360° Morninga key event bringing together business leaders, associations and public decision-makers to share ideas and concrete ecological and social solutions.

The festival will also feature screenings in Cannes’ iconic venues, conferences, participatory workshops, artistic performances, as well as convivial and festive events at the opening and closing ceremonies.

The Village of Initiatives completes the program, bringing together associations, companies and committed creators to present innovative and inspiring projects.

FIFES 2026 is more than just a film festival: it’s a place to meet, reflect and take action to celebrate life, defend biodiversity and collectively imagine an ecological future based on solidarity.
