Vincent is a naturalist, lecturer and photographic artist, a poet avid for the beautiful, the rare and the stolen moment. Nature is the source of his inspiration, but he does not disdain human nature. His motto: "To seek nothing is to find everything!"
Formerly head of the water and climate change department at SCP (Société du Canal de Provence), Vincent ended his career as a forestry engineer, expert naturalist and flora-fauna trainer. Initiator and co-author of the Mémento de la flore protégée des Alpes-Maritimes (1st edition 1989, republished in 2010), he has also worked as a naturalist guide.
He has given over 770 lectures in France, Italy and Poland, where he presents slide shows of his photos with live commentary and no text - "it's all in the image".
Between geology, mineralogy, speleology and paleontology, his slide shows illustrate the beauty of Europe's natural spaces and raise awareness of their preservation.
