Destination Shiftopie is a low-carbon imagination contest organized since 2022 by The Shifters association, open to everyone, amateur and professional artists alike. Its aim is to help develop new imaginaries for 2050 that are realistic, plausible, funny and well-documented in a low-carbon world.
The Shifters is a non-profit association that brings together volunteers committed to the low-carbon transition of France and Europe. This community is a catalyst for anyone wishing to develop their capacity for action and their knowledge of energy and climate. It works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on oil, gas and coal. The association takes its name from the English verb to shift. Its members, the Shifteurs and Shifteuses, inform themselves, debate and train to act collectively to shift France, Europe and beyond!
