The film plunges us into a school in the middle of the forest, where, over the course of a year, we observe the children who play and learn there. Thirty children, from kindergarten to CE1, spend every day here, whatever the weather – sun, rain or snow. They explore the forest on their own, discover nature’s cycles and seek their place in the community. In this environment, they develop their sense of responsibility, courage, imagination and creativity, while interacting spontaneously and empathetically with their peers and other beings in the world.
