Concert by the Union des Fanfares et Ensembles musicaux (UFEM)

UFEM (Union des Fanfares et Ensembles Musicaux), founded in 1906 under the name UFF, is a national musical confederation that brings together amateur musical groups (batterie-fanfares, harmonies-fanfares and harmonies) across France. Its aim is to promote the music of amateur orchestras and offer training courses for orchestra conductors.
As part of this dynamic, UFEM PACA has created the“Bandes Originales” orchestra, a philharmonic ensemble made up of amateur musicians from all horizons. Their joint project is to present a concert of film music at FIFES. This repertoire of film music, present in amateur harmony orchestras, encourages intergenerational exchanges, enabling young musicians to discover cinematographic works from the last century, while experienced musicians discover more recent cinematographic references.
Through the “Bandes Originales” project, UFEM PACA aims to promote the cultural and social dynamism of volunteer music associations.
