Vincent Kulesza photo exhibition

Vincent is a naturalist, lecturer and photographic artist, a poet avid for the beautiful, the rare and the stolen moment. Nature is the source of his inspiration, but he does not disdain human nature. His motto: "To seek nothing is to find everything!"
Formerly head of the water and climate change department at SCP (Société du Canal de Provence), Vincent ended his career as a forestry engineer, naturalist expert and flora-fauna trainer. Initiator and co-author of the Mémento de la flore protégée des Alpes-Maritimes (1st edition 1989, reprinted 2010), he has also worked as a naturalist guide.
He has given over 770 lectures in France, Italy and Poland, where he presents slideshows of his photographs with live commentary and no text - "it's all in the image".
From geology and mineralogy to speleology and paleontology, his slide shows illustrate the beauty of Europe's natural spaces and raise awareness of their preservation.

Sestination Shiftopie is a low-carbon imagination contest organized since 2022 by The Shifters association, open to everyone, amateur and professional artists alike. Its aim is to help develop new imaginaries for 2050 that are realistic, plausible, funny and documented in a low-carbon world.
The Shifters is a non-profit association of volunteers committed to the low-carbon transition of France and Europe. This community is a catalyst for anyone wishing to develop their capacity for action and their knowledge of energy and climate. It works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on oil, gas and coal. The association takes its name from to shift: to change direction, to transform. Its members, the Shifteurs and Shifteuses, inform themselves, debate and train to act collectively to shift France, Europe and beyond!
