Yanqiu Fei is a Chinese cinematographer, director and screenwriter currently based in France. Yanqiu Fei’s cinematography credits include the feature documentary Last Year of Darkness<\/em>, winner of the NEXT:WAVE prize at CPH:DOX and the Cannes Doc Award at Visions du R\u00e9el. <\/span><\/p>\n In this workshop, participants will discover how a cinematographer constructs the vision of a film, from preparation to artistic collaboration, in both fiction and documentary. Drawing on film extracts, the workshop will reflect on the ethics of the gaze and cinematographic practice. He then made a name for himself with the comedy <\/span>Les Tuch<\/a><\/em>es<\/em> (2011) as the nerdy son, Donald. Since then, Th\u00e9o Fernandez has taken on a series of TV roles. At the same time, he has set up an acting school and an artistic agency open to all. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n His workshop will enable participants to understand what defines good acting, and to experiment with acting in front of the camera by mobilizing their own inner resources. Th\u00e9o will present his career path, before giving a theoretical definition of the role of actor-ice. The workshop will then offer an opportunity for participants to try their hand at acting through simple exercises, followed by live coaching by the speaker. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n\n
