This year's<\/span>he international competition will feature ten films from all over the world: France, the UK, Greece, India, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Chile, Hungary, Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, India, Argentina, Denmark and Bosnia-Herzegovina.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The aim of the films selected is to take a systemic approach<\/span> to the major issues and challenges of our time: respect for living beings, preservation of ecosystems, access to water, food, energy, health, education, youth, culture, technology and the economy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The members of the international jury have been carefully chosen to represent bothecological and social commitment<\/span>, and the world of cinema<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, they will have to decide between the ten documentaries, and award three of them the FIFES prizes: the Prix Sp\u00e9cial du Jury, the Prix Coup de Coeur and the Graine d'Or, the festival's highest distinction. A fourth film will be awarded the Prix du Public. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The members of the international jury have been carefully chosen to represent ecological and social commitment in the world of cinema.<\/p>\n

We also make a point of alternating between a president and a president of the jury from one edition to the next.
So, after Sophie Rabhi (France) in 2022, Emmanuel Cappellin (France) in 2023, Delia Ackerman (Peru) in 2024, James G\u00e9rard (Australia) in 2025, this year Marie-Dominique Michaud (Canada) will preside over the jury for the international competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
