Passionate about creating and developing content in a wide variety of genres and formats, Marie-Dominique has over fifteen years of experience in content development, production and production for television, new media and film.
She has produced several award-winning experimental projects, including <\/span>Les Enfants de La Bolduc<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>In the Mouth<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Loov.ca<\/span><\/i>. On television, she also produced the fiction series <\/span>Toi & Moi<\/span><\/i> broadcast on Radio-Canada, as well as the feature films <\/span>Le Torrent<\/span><\/i> by Simon Lavoie and <\/span>Gurov & Anna<\/span><\/i> by Rafa\u00ebl Ouellet.
Documentaries <\/span> La Terre vue du c\u0153ur<\/span><\/i> by Iolande Cadrin-Rossignol and <\/span>L’Oc\u00e9an vu du c\u0153ur<\/span><\/i> which she also co-directed, marked a decisive step in her career, initiating a professional orientation now largely devoted to accelerating the ecological transition.
She is the ideator, co-designer and content producer of the fiction mini-series <\/span> RAVAGES<\/span><\/i> (6 \u00d7 1 h), an environmental thriller directed by Sophie Deraspe, produced by PIXCOM, airing fall 2025 on Club illico (TVA) and soon on ARTE. Following on from <\/span>L’Oc\u00e9an vu du c\u0153ur<\/span><\/i>she is currently developing <\/span>Vues du c\u0153ur<\/span><\/i>a four-part documentary series about four international women environmentalists, as well as her first animated feature, <\/span>SEDNA, the last Iceberg<\/span><\/i>created by Fran\u00e7ois Guinaudeau.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Asgeir Helgestad

Asgeir Helgestad is an award-winning Norwegian director, cinematographer, writer and producer. He has over thirty years’ experience in documentary and photography. Nature has always been his greatest source of inspiration and commitment, and his work bears witness to a deep sensitivity and empathy towards his subjects. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Her recent documentary <\/span>Queen Without Land<\/span><\/i> (2018) has been shown at over fifty festivals, received over thirty international awards and reached audiences around the world. His photography has also won awards in the most prestigious wildlife photography competitions, including <\/span>Wildlife Photographer of the Year<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

His first book, which he wrote and photographed, <\/span>Dyr i skogen \/ Animals in the Forest<\/span><\/i> (2001), was awarded the Norwegian Ministry of Culture’s prize for new talent. In 2006, Asgeir Helgestad founded the independent production company <\/span>Artic Light<\/b>dedicated to giving a voice to nature and living beings often absent from public space. He is a member of the <\/span>Norwegian Society of Cinematographers<\/b> and <\/span>Norske Naturfotografer<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Natalie Zimmerman is a filmmaker and artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, whose work has been shown internationally in a variety of contexts, including at the Independent Feature Project (New York), the World Affairs Council, Museumsquartier\/Q21 and the Sigmund Freud Museum (Vienna). She is a former <\/span>Fulbright<\/b>, <\/span>Resident Fellow<\/b> at the Headlands Center for the Arts and <\/span>artist-in-residence<\/b> at the deYoung Museum of Fine Arts (San Francisco), where she created <\/span>Social Dream Lab<\/span><\/i>an exploration of the collective dynamics of dreaming and social revolution.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2017, she organized a gathering of indigenous and Western women engaged in climate activism, <\/span>On Fertile Ground: Integrating Perspectives Toward a Collective Future<\/span><\/i>a project funded by the U.S. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. His films and installations include <\/span>Islands<\/span><\/i>premiered at SF Camerawork as part of the group exhibition <\/span>Traces of Life on the Thin Film of Longing<\/span><\/i> alongside Jem Cohen and Jenni Olsen, <\/span>Close the Eyes<\/span><\/i>premiered at Vienna’s Sigmund Freud Museum, and <\/span>Eros & Psyche<\/span><\/i>created and presented during her residency at Headlands Center for the Arts.<\/span><\/p>\n

His cinematographic work was highlighted at the <\/span>Ji.hlava New Visions Forum: US Docs<\/b> in the Czech Republic in October 2021. In May 2022, she was nominated and selected for a <\/span>filmmaker residency<\/b> organized by the Woodstock Film Festival, the Theoria Foundation and Gigantic Pictures. His projects have received financial support from numerous institutions, including the American Embassy of the South Pacific (Diplomatic Fellowship), the Pacific Development Conservation Trust, the Center for Cultural Innovation, the UC Berkeley Professional Development Award, the Puffin Foundation, the Paul Robeson Foundation and the Yip Harburg Foundation. <\/span><\/p>\n

She recently founded <\/span>Alchemy Dream Studio<\/b>which produced her first feature-length documentary, <\/span>OCEANIA: Journey to the Center<\/span><\/i>. <\/span>OCEANIA<\/span><\/i> had its <\/span>world premiere<\/b> at the Mill Valley International Film Festival (October 2024), followed by a <\/span>premiere on the U.S. East Coast<\/b> at the Woodstock Film Festival, and is currently touring festivals around the world. The film has been translated into six languages and screened in numerous countries on four continents, including the USA, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Estonia, Brazil, Ecuador, Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand and Norway. <\/span><\/p>\n

Th\u00e9o Fernandez began his acting career in 2009, at the age of 11, alongside <\/span>Christa Th\u00e9ret<\/span><\/a> in the horror film <\/span>Village of Shadows<\/span><\/a>. But it was two years later that the actor first came to public attention with the lucrative comedy from<\/span>Olivier Baroux<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>The Tuches<\/span><\/a>as the nerdy son of <\/span>Jean-Paul Rouve<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Isabelle Nanty<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jean-Philippe Marquis is a documentary filmmaker, cinematographer and editor based in British Columbia, Canada. Working in film and television for 15 years, his projects focus on the environment, social causes and the exploitation of natural resources. His most recent feature film Silvicola (2023), which he produced, directed, shot and edited, was supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and won several awards, including the John Kastner Award at Hot Docs and Best Canadian Film at Planet in Focus. <\/span><\/p>\n

Since <\/span>16 years<\/b>she has run the production company <\/span>Hiperactiva Comunicaciones<\/b> and has directed documentaries such as <\/span>Cicatrices del enga\u00f1o<\/span><\/i>dedicated to forced sterilizations in Peru. She was <\/span>executive producer and director<\/b> of the interactive documentary celebrating EICTV’s 30th anniversary, <\/span>Met\u00e1fora viva: between chaos and order<\/span><\/i> (Cuba). She has also created <\/span>transmedia documentaries<\/b>including <\/span>La vida no vale un cobre<\/span><\/i> (2018) and <\/span>Pozos en el desierto<\/span><\/i> (2021).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

His feature films include <\/span>Entre el hierro y el mar<\/span><\/i> (2020) and <\/span>Rojo profundo, Javier Diez Canseco: el legado<\/span><\/i>which won the <\/span>Audience Award<\/b> at the Lima Film Festival (2023), as well as the <\/span>Best Documentary Award<\/b> at the Apatzing\u00e1n Festival in Mexico (2024). She also <\/span>a dozen short films<\/b> of a social nature.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She accompanied <\/span>over 200 film projects<\/b> (documentaries and fiction) as part of film laboratories in several countries, including <\/span>Acampadoc<\/b> (Panama), <\/span>Bolivia Lab<\/b> (Bolivia), <\/span>Mendoza Film Lab<\/b> (Argentina), <\/span>Encuentros Bio Bio Cine<\/b> (Chile) and <\/span>Icaro Guatemala<\/b>where she leads workshops on <\/span>extended narratives<\/b>the <\/span>impact campaigns<\/b> and the <\/span>production<\/b>. She teaches the production of non-fiction formats at the<\/span>EICTV<\/b> (Cuba).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She was <\/span>academic coordinator of CortoLabs<\/b>an audiovisual training center supported by the Cultural Institutes of the European Union. She has also directed a documentary series on the contributions of indigenous peoples in Peru, in a participatory approach with indigenous populations. Yanqiu Fei is a Chinese director, screenwriter and cinematographer. With a background in journalism, she is genuinely interested in exploring relationships and the inner workings of human emotions. She seeks to tell the extraordinary stories of ordinary people in a humorous, incisive, poetic and sincere way. <\/span><\/p>\n

Yanqiu’s recent work includes his short film “BAO”. It received the “Outbreaking Performance award” at the Newport Beach Film Festival and won the “Audience Choice Award” at the Fusion Film Festival. The Japanese short film “Jose’s Tour de Tokyo”, which she co-wrote and shot, premiered at the Academy Awards\u00ae accredited Short Film Festival and in Asia. She was also director of photography for the feature documentary “Last Year of Darkness”, which won the NEXT: WAVE award at CPH:DOX and the Cannes Doc Award at Vision Du R\u00e9el. Yanqiu holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts Asia. <\/span><\/p>\n
