This documentary retraces not only this ecological restoration mission\, but also the human adventure it generates: a deep commitment\, a shared resilience\, and a strong bond forged beneath the surface. My project is a call to action to protect the seabed and endangered species. The Mediterranean is listed as the most polluted sea in the world\, with very high concentrations of micro-plastics\, to the detriment of marine biodiversity. In many respects\, the Mediterranean has become a great graveyard. What will be left of the rich underwater flora and fauna for future generations?”

But their immersions confront them with a reality: waste is everywhere. Every year\, 8 million tonnes of plastic end up in our oceans. Over the course of a week\, Coralie\, Jérémy\, Karim and Astrid descend beneath the surface to dig up plastics\, cans\, tires and other human traces that have accumulated in coastal creeks. But underwater\, something else is at play. Through their repeated gestures and intimate accounts\, these freedivers do more than just clean up the sea. They learn to inhabit it\, to listen to it\, to connect with it. For\, in the face of relentless pollution\, the question remains: how can we protect what we can’t see? Their commitment reveals the need to reconnect with the sea.
