The Association du Festival International du Film Écologique et Social de Cannes (Cannes International Ecological and Social Film Festival Association) continues to forge links between the film community and the initiators of ecological and social actions throughout the year. The program “Au Fil des Saisons: Automne 2023”, scheduled for December 7 at the Cineum in Cannes, in partnership with the Maison des Semences Maralpines, is an eloquent example.

The day kicks off at 2:00 pm, with a screening of the film“Ruptures“, Prix Coup de Coeur 2021, followed by a special welcome for students and a debate on commitment.

At 4:00 pm, get ready to be inspired by “Éclaireuses“, the film that proudly won the Prix de la Graine d’Or at the 3rd edition of F.I.F.E.S.

The evening continues at 6:00 pm with “Essaimons-nous“, a privileged moment of interaction with the public and the M.S.P.M., enriched by a debate in the presence of the director.

At 7:30 p.m., a convivial aperitif is served in the form of a cocktail reception, a moment to relax and exchange ideas after a day full of reflections and discoveries. Meals will also be served by chef Simon Duval, who specializes in Ayurvedic cuisine – but don’t forget to book online!

At 8:30 p.m., the day will conclude with a screening of the film “Les Graines de Vandana Shiva” (The Seeds of Vandana Shiva), which will offer us another look at sustainable agriculture, followed by a stimulating debate.

Each film presented is a recognized nugget, testifying to the richness and diversity of voices in cinema.

Join us for this exceptional day that celebrates the power of cinema and farmers’ seeds, and engages in crucial discussions about the future of our environment.
